What is I Can Do It! ?

I Can Do It! is a success-oriented tutoring system designed to bring your child to -- or above -- grade level, in the core skills of reading and math, while providing the study and organizational skills needed to learn independently. Our tutors also work with students who need help with specific subjects and those preparing for tests such as the FCAT, SAT and ACT.

Who is eligible to enroll in I Can Do It! ?

Most of our students are enrolled in the third grade or higher in public or private schools in Manatee, Sarasota or surrounding counties. Adult learners who want to prepare for a test or "bone-up" on a subject are also welcome.

How much time does I Can Do It! take?

Students seeking to address core skills in reading or math come to our center in Bradenton twice a week to meet with our certified educators for a one hour session. Other students are scheduled according to their specific needs and goals. Between sessions, students are expected to practice the skills they worked on in the previous session. Students are allowed to learn at the pace that is best for them. They are rewarded as they progress.

Our certified educators tailor proven materials and techniques to your student's own needs and learning style. Instead of a "one size fits all" approach, we assess your student's needs at the basic skills level and design his or her program accordingly. This way, the student stays focused on his or her target skills without being distracted by skills he or she has already mastered.
